Some of life's happiest memories are made outdoors, sharing food with the people we love. Whether it's listening to the waves rolling onto the shore, feeling the grass beneath our feet in a local park, or taking in the splendour of the mountains, every perfect picnic is made special by the company we keep.
Created in collaboration with crochet designer Eleonora Tully of Coastal Crochet, the Scheepjes Perfect Picnic CAL invites makers around the world to crochet together over eight inspiring weeks. As each new pattern part is released, participants will share progress, celebrate milestones and encourage one another within the vibrant Scheepjes community.
Making its Scheepjes debut, one of Eleonora's much-loved blanket designs is reimagined in six new colourways. Inspired by idyllic picnic destinations, each captures the beauty and atmosphere of a different setting. Featuring front and back post stitches, playful bobbles, simple Tunisian crochet and join-as-you-go construction, the blanket offers an enjoyable balance of familiar and new, with plenty of opportunities to build confidence while exploring colour, texture and a variety of techniques.
