Fastfood Keychains - Fries

Materials
Scheepjes Catona (100% Mercerised Cotton; 10g/25m)
Yarn A 390 Poppy Rose x 1 ball
Yarn B 106 Snow White x 1 ball
Yarn C 208 Yellow Gold x 1 ball
2.5mm crochet hook
Stitch markers
Small amount of polyester stuffing
1 x keyring
Gauge/Tension AND Measurements
Tension is not critical for this project but should be tight enough not to leave holes showing stuffing. Different measurements may result in different yarn and stuffing amounts needed. Height: Fries 6.5cm (2½in).

Pattern Notes
This pattern is worked using the amigurumi method, unless stated otherwise. Work sts continuously in a spiral without closing each round with ss. Mark first st of each round with stitch marker, moving it up as you go. Colour changes take place in final st of previous colour, work last yoh of final st in new colour and pull through.
FRY (make 8)
Using Yarn C, ch14.
Row 1 (RS) 1htr in third ch from hook, 1htr in each ch to end, turn. [12 htr]
Row 2 (WS) Ch2 (does not count as st), 1htr blo in each st to end.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail. With WS facing out, fold in half lengthways; sew unworked lps of foundation ch to blo of Row 2.
Container
In this section, when changing colours, unless instructed otherwise do not cut old colour, leave on WS of work at beg of round until next required.
Using Yarn A, ch9.
Round 1 (RS) 2dc in second ch from hook, 6dc, 4dc in next ch, cont in unworked lps on opposite side of foundation ch, 1dc in next ch, 5dc, 2dc in same ch as first 2 dc. [20 dc]
Rounds 2-3 (RS) 1dc in each st around.
Round 4 (1dc, 2dc in next st, 7dc, 2dc in next st) twice. [24 dc]
Change to Yarn B. Rounds 5-7 1dc in each st around.
Change to Yarn A, fasten off Yarn B. Rounds 8-10 1dc in each st around. Fasten off Yarn A and weave in ends.
Assembly
Place Fries in Container, using Yarn A sew along top of Container to hold Fries in position. Attach Keyrings.
To Finish
Weave in remaining ends.
