These crocheted Christmas ornaments add a festive, handmade touch to your tree. They’re made using our brand-new Catona Shine yarn alongside classic Catona.

Originally featured in Klein Maar Fijn 33, the pattern has been given a shimmering update for 2025 with the addition of Catona Shine. The yarn can be combined with regular Catona, and with over 100 colours to choose from, you’re sure to find the perfect match for your tree! To complete that festive feel, even the hanging loops are made using Catona Shine.

Materials

Scheepjes Catona (100% Mercerised Cotton; 25g/62m)

• Yarn A 391 Deep Ocean x 1 ball
• Yarn B 128 Tyrian Purple x 1 ball
• Yarn C 515 Emerald x 1 ball
• Yarn D 383 Ginger Gold x 1 ball
• Yarn E 404 English Tea x 1 ball
• Yarn F 192 Scarlet x 1 ball

• 2.5mm crochet hook
• Stitch markers
• 2 skeins DMC Light Effects gold metallic embroidery thread or Catona Shine yarn
• Small amount of polyester stuffing
