Radiant Blush Tunic
By Liz SalazarLiz Salazar has created a crochet tunic that radiates beautiful stitchwork and breathable comfort through thoughtful design, natural fibres and flattering long lines. A shallow V neckline at both the front and back creates a balanced silhouette, finished with a simple edging that keeps the focus on the fabric.
The lower section of the tunic is worked in an open shell stitch, gradually transitioning into a closed shell stitch towards the upper body, offering more coverage where it is most welcome. Made using either Scheepjes Cotton Create or Scheepjes Organicon, both offering excellent stitch definition.
The back, front and full-length sleeves are worked separately, back and forth in rows, before being sewn together and finished with a ribbed hem. Easy to style for relaxed walks along the beach or everyday wear, the tunic looks fresh in pastels and classy in neutral shades.
The crochet pattern is featured in Scheepjes YARN the After Party 180 and is free to download using the link below. It includes full written instructions, a measurement table and schematic for five sizes from S to XXL, plus a crochet stitch chart for the open shell stitch pattern.
