Tranquilo Blanket
Looking for a blanket you can whip up quickly and then snuggle under in total comfort? The Tranquilo Blanket is wonderfully soft and features a beautiful colour gradient thanks to the Big Darling cakes. By using three different shades, a playful transition is created from light to vibrant tones.
The blanket measures 100 x 130 cm, but you can easily adjust the size to suit your preferences. The pattern is available for free below:

Notes
The blanket is worked back and forth in rows using the linen stitch (also called moss stitch). You can adjust the size by chaining more stitches at the beginning for extra width, or by working more rows for extra length.
Do not fasten off the yarn when changing colours. Instead, carry the yarn up the side of your work until it is needed again.
Instructions
With colour A: ch 74 + 4
Row 1: Starting in the 4th ch from hook, 1 dc, ch 1, skip 1 st, 1 dc in next st. Repeat across. Change to colour B.
Row 2: Turn, ch 2, 1 dc in the ch-1 space between sts, ch 1, 1 dc in next ch-1 space. Repeat across. End the row with 1 dc between the last dc and the turning ch-2. Change to colour C.
Row 3: Turn, ch 2, 1 dc in the ch-1 space, ch 1, 1 dc in next ch-1 space. Repeat across. End with 1 dc between the last dc and the turning ch-2. Change to colour A.
Row 4: Turn, ch 2, 1 dc in the ch-1 space, ch 1, 1 dc in next ch-1 space. Repeat across. End with 1 dc between the last dc and the turning ch-2. Change to colour B.
Repeat Rows 2–4 until you have completed 85 rows.
Weave in the ends with your hands.
