Punch Needle Tree Decorations #Christmas

By Liz Barraclough

A few old favourites in a sparkling new look!

These punch needle Christmas ornaments add a festive, handmade touch to your tree. They’re created using our brand-new Catona Shine yarn alongside classic Catona.

Originally featured in Klein Maar Fijn 33, the pattern received a shimmering update in 2025 using the new Catona Shine. The yarn pairs beautifully with regular Catona, and with over 100 shades available, there’s sure to be a match for your Christmas colour palette! Even the loops for hanging the ornaments are made using Catona Shine to complete the festive feel.

The original decorations were designed by Liz Barraclough, who used Scheepjes Sunkissed and Cotton 8 to create her Punch Needle Tree Decorations.
