Luca Bootees

The Luca Bootees are a pair of cosy knits designed to keep tiny toes warm and comfortable. Made using Scheepjes Kindsome, they have a gentle texture and soft wool blend that feel lovely against delicate skin. Quick to make, they’re a thoughtful gift for anyone celebrating new baby news.

Worked flat in rows, each bootee is made from two separate pieces that combine sections of stocking stitch, seed stitch, and ribbing. Once sewn together, they form a snug little shape with a stretchy leg cuff that helps them stay in place while being gentle on baby’s skin.

The Luca Bootees pattern with measurement chart for three sizes (0–12 months) appears in Scheepjes Pattern Portfolio Volume 04: Kindsome, along with four other baby knits by the same designer. Scheepjes Kindsome (40% Compostable Polyester, 60% Wool; 50g/150m)
