When one is gathering guests to celebrate a royal occasion, afternoon tea will be expected. Of course beverages must be served in the best porcelain cups, poured from a warmed pot. Cher Marcus designed the resplendent Knitted Crown Tea Cosy with fur trim and dazzling jewels for those who insist on the finer things in life. You’ll need a royal colour palette of Scheepjes Cahlista and Furry Tales yarns to knit yours. Once you have had tremendous fun embellishing this design with sequin and button ‘jewels’, we challenge you NOT to try it on your head!
Materials
Scheepjes Furry Tales (100% Polyester; 100g/57m)
- Yarn A 970 Snow White x 1 ball
Scheepjes Cahlista (100% Natural Cotton; 50g/85m)
- Yarn B 249 Saffron x 2 balls
- Yarn C 521 Violet x 2 balls
- 4.5mm and 9mm knitting needles
- 10 x 12mm black buttons
- 1 x 18mm gold button
- 8mm Gütermann purple sequins
- 8mm Gütermann red sequins
- Matching sewing thread
- Small amount of polyester stuffing
