Forever Flowers
By Kwannie ChengThis one is for those of us who see potential in everything and can’t resist saving bits and pieces for a future crafty project. Forever Flowers combines crocheted blooms with recycled cardboard, straws and the inner tube from a ball of Maxi Sugar Rush, proving that even packaging can find a second life in your craft corner!
The finished piece makes a cheerful addition to desks, shelves or windowsills and offers a relaxed way to enjoy crochet with a sustainable twist. It celebrates curiosity, creativity and making the most of what’s already around you.
The Forever Flowers pattern includes full written instructions and is part of Scheepjes Pattern Portfolio Volume 06: Maxi, featuring six upcycling crochet projects by Kwannie. The booklet is available in print from Scheepjes retailers and as a digital download on Ravelry, in English and Dutch.
