Ease Cardigan

The Ease Cardigan is a light layer designed to slip easily into everyday wardrobes. With its classic round neckline and button-up front, it’s the kind of piece you’ll reach for when the morning air is cool but the day still holds warmth. Worked in breathable fingering weight cotton, it adds comfort to outfits without feeling bulky or overdone.

Simple, narrow finishes at the neckline, button bands, cuffs and hem keep the overall look clean and feminine, allowing the stitch pattern to take centre stage. Worked flat from the bottom up, a chevron lace pattern runs across the body and sleeves, with rows of garter stitch worked in between to create a softly raised texture that adds interest without overwhelming the fabric.

This versatile cardigan works just as well layered over a dress on cooler spring days as it does slipped over a simple top when autumn sets in. Shown here in a warm orange shade, the design also lends itself beautifully to the soft pastels and easy-to-wear neutrals in the ScheepjesCotton Create palette.
