Hi, hello and welcome! My name is Kuba and I’m the creative face behind Pracownia Blask. All my creative ideas are born in my apartment in Poland.

I fell in love with hook and yarn at the end of 2022, when I surfed through the Internet searching for some Christmas presents for my family. I came across a tutorial and I thought that maybe I will try to crochet some Christmas gnomes on my own. Since then, crochet fills every second of my free time.

I want to show everyone that playing with yarn, shapes and colors can be fun, unique and very rewarding.

The closer meaning of Pracownia Blask /praˈtsɔvɲa blask/ in English is „Studio Glow”. The story behind the name is super simple - I wanted not to be limited to one type of craft, because I like to be versatile and I am a creative person, without boundaries. That’s where the „Pracownia” comes from. My mission is to make things that grab the attention, things that are unique, sometimes funny or silly. I want to give to the world the joy of being creative and I want to bring the sunshine and smile to every face of a person that will ever come across my designs, posts or funny videos. And that’s what „Blask” means to me.

Lately I’ve been busy writing my own patterns, designing characters and creating their stories and personalities.

I love everything quirky and fun, and I always look for versatility in my designs. Like many amigurumi enthusiasts, I don’t particularly enjoy sewing pieces together, so I try to make my designs as close to no-sew as possible!

I’m a big coffee lover and besides crocheting I also love to play some video games and take care of my house plants.
