Deer - from Rabbit, Deer and Mouse

Deer, designed by Jacquelien Twijnstra, is one of three enchanting characters featured in the Scheepjes pattern book Rabbit, Deer and Mouse. With a gentle expression and stitched detail, this knitted woodland companion makes a wonderful handmade friend.

Worked in separate pieces and then assembled, Deer stands approximately 40cm (16in) tall and is perfectly sized for play, display or gifting. The pattern includes clear instructions, tips for neat finishing, and suggestions for dressing Deer in a whole range of adorable knitted and crocheted outfits from the book’s mix-and-match wardrobe.

• Scheepjes Stone Washed (78% Cotton, 22% Acrylic; 50g/130m) Yarn C: 820 Rose Quartz – 1 ball Yarn D: 801 Moon Stone – 1 ball Yarn E: 822 Brown Agate – 1 ball
• A scrap of brown cotton yarn (for mouth)
• 2.5mm and 3.5mm knitting needles
• 3.5mm set of double pointed needles
• Lockable stitch markers

• 1 x Ø 12mm brown soft safety nose
• 2 x Ø 11mm buttons
