Cuddly Cable Sweater

Kindsome is a thoughtful, planet-friendly yarn combining natural wool with compostable polyester for a finish that’s soft on delicate skin and kind to the earth.

Created especially with babies and toddlers in mind, it’s perfect for pieces made to last and be loved again.

The sweater is worked from the bottom up in separate panels, featuring an 8-row loose braided cable pattern that brings distinctive texture to the front and back. It’s finished with a neatly knitted neckband. For the smallest sizes, button details at the shoulder make dressing quick and comfortable.

Available as a free pattern download in English and Dutch, with instructions for four sizes from 3 to 18 months.

• Scheepjes Kindsome (40% Compostable Polyester, 60% Wool; 50g/150m)
  ​719 Sea Breeze x 3 (3: 4: 4) balls
• 3.5mm knitting needles
• 1 set dpns or circular knitting needles 3.5mm (for option without buttons)
• Cable needle
• Stitch holders
• 3 x 15mm buttons (for option with buttons)
• Sewing thread in matching colour (for option with buttons)
