2.50mm crochet hook

Gingerbread House is crocheted back and forth in rows, turn after each row. Details are embroidered at the end. Turning ch does not count as a st.

Embroidered Details
Using photo as a guide, embroider details on House using Yarn C and running sts.
Wrap Yarn D around Yarn C to create a candy cane effect.
To Finish
Weave in all remaining ends and block to flatten shape.

Pattern Notes
Candy Cane is worked back and forth in rows, turn after each row. Turning ch does not count as a st. You can either fasten off the old colour at each colour change or leave the old colour hanging and pick it back up when you need to change again.

Rows 4-5 Using Yarn A, ch1, 3dc.
Repeat Rows 2-5 a further 3 times, then repeat Rows 4-5 once more.
Row 20 Using Yarn B, ch1, 3dc.
Row 21 Ch1, 1dc, 1htr, 1tr.
Row 22 Using Yarn A, ch1, 1tr, 1htr, 1dc.
Row 23 Ch1, 1dc, 1htr, 1tr.
Repeat Row 22-23 a further 3 times, changing colour every 2 rows.
Row 30 Using Yarn B, ch1, 3dc.
Row 31 Ch1, 3dc.
Fasten off.
To Finish
Weave in all ends and block to flatten shape.
