YARN The After Party 55 - Hilda Hippo Cuddle Blanket

By Tessa van Riet-Ernst

The Hilda Hippo Cuddle Blanket by Tessa van Riet-Ernst has been designed for snuggling, cuddling, and being tucked in tight beside your little one at night. She is also known for being a great play-mate, keeping your children and toddlers occupied when out and about, and for keeping the boogie monster away during sleep time.

Made from our wonderfully soft and fluffy Scheepjes Sweetheart Soft Brush yarns, Hilda is both a delight to hold onto and perfect against delicate skin. The details are crocheted using a combination of Scheepjes Twinkle, Stone Washed and Catona yarns, together giving Hilda a unique, textured finish. Once complete, Hilda measures 80 x 80cm. The perfect project for gifting to new parents!

The YARN The After Party booklets are available in English UK crochet terms, German, Swedish and Dutch crochet terms via our Scheepjes dealers. This pattern is also available as a digital download via Ravelry in English US crochet terms, French and Spanish.

Over Sweatheart Soft brush

Scheepjes Sweetheart Soft Brush is a beautiful variant of the popular yarn Scheepjes Sweetheart Soft. It has the same familiar super-soft touch as Sweetheart Soft but with a subtle painted fleck and is particularly suitable for crocheting or knitting baby’s garments and stuffed toys.
