Pretty Little Things 30 - Cutlery Wrap

Liz Barraclough’s Cutlery Wrap is designed to offer the more sustainable option of carrying your own reusable utensils and refusing disposable cutlery and straws. The washable wrap is made from Tissu de Marie Cotton Fabric. The gingham has been chosen to act as a guide to help newer sewers easily stitch straight lines for the pocket slots and to attach ties. The project dimensions are suitable for utensils up to 22cm, but this is easily adapted to create wraps for pencils, crochet hooks, knitting needles, make up brushes etc.

Materials

• Tissu de Marie Cotton Fabric (100% Cotton; 1.5m)
  28 x 49cm purple gingham (item no. 97495-08)
  28 x 33cm solid purple (item no. 96244-31)
  80cm x 12mm purple twill tape for tie (item no. 605037-39)
• 1 spool purple Gütermann Sew-All thread (item no. G303-200-211)
• 1 spool white Gütermann Sew-All thread (item no. G303-200-800)
• Sewing machine + supplies
