Pretty Little Things 25 - Textured Music Box Snail

By Nienke Jongstra

After a busy morning pottering amongst the flowers and discovering what’s lurking under stones and flowerpots, many mini naturalists will be ready for a nap. The shell of Nienke’s Jongstra’s Textured Music Box Snail houses a secret – a music box that plays a soothing melody to help lull them to sleep. This charming creature is crocheted with two calm, neutra lshades of Scheepjes Catona, using the naturally spiralling amigurumi technique that’s perfect for the shell. Clever placement of simple stitches adds a tactile ribbed texture that tiny fingers will love to explore.
