About Metropolis
Metropolis is a lightly heathered, Fingering weight sock yarn made from an Extra Fine Merino and Nylon blend. It's decadently Soft but "oh so" strong! Not only does this yarn have a gorgeous texture, but it's also available in a massive range of 80 colours! Providing tons of opportunities for creativity within your craft projects!
So much more than socks!
Although perfect for socks, this is definitely not just a sock yarn!

All 80 glorious shades are available in both 50g balls and in a stunning colour pack featuring all 80 shades in cute 10g balls, all showcased in an excellent carry case. It's an ideal purchase for anybody who wants to experiment with many colours.
Being made with 75% Extra Fine Merino Wool and 25% Nylon, this durable yarn can be washed on a warm but gentle cycle at a maximum temperature of 40° C. It can also be ironed, which means it's a reasonably easy yarn to care for.

- On May 17th Jellina Verhoeff releases the sensational pattern "Tumbling Blocks Shawl", a new design using the Metropolis Colour Pack!
- And on May 26th Tammy Canavan-Soldaat will release "Bloom Between The Lines" an exciting new design and pattern using Scheepjes Metropolis.
